Wow- I am pleased to announce that Iam officially in the works of creating my own clothing line- we are looking to start off small and depending on how it goes- we will go on to hire a seamstress to go all out with it. We are starting with edgy silk screen fashion forward tees that are 100% eco friendly and animal/curelty free. 10% of all proceeds are going to the World Wildlife Foundation. Stay tuned- because I will make sure to keep everyone updated on that. Also, we will be building an online store where everyone can purchase them and we will be casting auditions for models for promo photo shoot in the next 6 to 8 months for models (yes it will be paid- possible contract with our company but so far contracts are undecided).

By the way- my photo shoot for the children's hospital is tomorrow- thanks to everyone who is auditioning!!! We received a great amount of rsvp's!! :)

Today was a crazy day- Amp'd Up Creations and Cherry Bazaar Photography are once again teaming up for another photo shoot. But not just any photo shoot- its a high fashion editorial photo shoot that will be taking place in San Francisco in December. Auditions are being held on Oct. 17th andour online ads and flyers are elready being distributed and I'm getting more and more excited by the minute! This shoot is going to be alot of work- wardrobe, makeup, hair and set are all under way. Each model chosen will receive free individual photos as well as photos from the group photo as payment for their time. This photo shoot is such a big deal not only for our portfolios but also because its going to be made into an online book and auctioned off for charity (who doesn't love a great cause?). The book will include makeup/fashion tips and turorials for the looks used by me.

Subject: Sept. 12 th photo shoot- makeup tutorial tips used on set (by melonie)    -    » Comment/Reply (click here to upgrade)
I just finished up my 2nd photo shoot on sept. 12th- (Amp'd Up Creations did the makeup only) it was a small but very successful photo shoot. I posted a couple behind the scenes pictures but haven't received any of the photos from the photographer yet but will post them as soon as I receive them. So Amp'd Up Creations is slowly coming along :)
There were a couple of different looks used on each girl.

Look #1: "Modern Doll"

I started with a clean face and various colors of concealer (always use two shades darker to contour and up to 2 shadeslighter to highlight) to contour the face. Then I went back up and did the eyes (TIP: IF EVER DOING A SMOKEY EYE START WITH THE EYE FIRST AND THEN APPLY FOUNDATION/CONCEALER BECAUSE SHADOW TENDS TO FALL ON TO CHEEKS DURING APPLICATION) as with the current fall trends, I gave each girl dramatic false black eyelashes and a dramatic black-lined eye (lacome gel eyeliner). I topped off the look with bright raspberry pink cheeks and a bold lip ("AMPLIFIED" by MAC).

Look #2 "Fresh face- just woke up look...need I say more??"
This look was used on the "sweater" photo- this take came out sexy, tousseled, and oh-so-fabulous (a far cry from your grandmother's makeup)! I contoured the model's face with concealer from my coastal scents pallette and finished with a translucent set-in powder. I dusted a pale pink light blush on the apples of her cheeks andlightly lined her upper lid. VOI-LA!

Look #3 "Retro Trendsetter"
This was the finishing look for up-an-coming model, Estella (and one of my favorites if I must say!). Estella has a naturally beautiful complexion and I didn't want to conceal her freckles- so I opted for a very sheer foundation just to take away some of the red undertone in her skin. I dusted a light rose-colored pink blush on the apples of her cheeks and gave her a light pink lip. I normally don't match up the shadows to outfits, but with all of the beautiful mu
