About Us
I am a full time professional commercial / freelance photographer with clients in Florida, California, Chicago, Colorado and of course Ohio among other states. Because of this I do a lot of location shoots as well as studio work. I am looking to expand and update my portfolio to allow for more local shooting, thus cutting back on my traveling. Sadly my web site needs to be rebuilt from scratch, a new site is in the planing stages.
Image is Everything!
Having high quality images on your web site and presenting high quality prints to potential clients will result in more work for you. I strive for perfection: first getting everything setup correctly (background, lighting, pose etc.) so what is in the camera is as good as possible. Post processing (image finishing, enhancement) is a must on all images. Image also have to be optimized for the format it is going to be displayed in. You just cannot take an image optimized for print and put it on the web and expect it to look good. I like to collaborate with my clients to produce and give them the images they are looking for. I am always open to ideas and willing to try different things. I have worked with very experienced models that needed little to no guidance to new models that are nervous and need some direction. I try to make everyone as comfortable as possible to make their shoot as enjoyable as possible. The most common comment I hear after ones experience is "I had a lot of fun". Bottom line is I take my work very seriously and enjoy what I do, I also believe if you cannot have fun at work, why work?
Award Winning Professional Photography
In 2008 at the Mid-East States Affiliate Association Exhibition of Professional Photographers we were honored to receive The Outstanding Image Award out of over 800 submitted images.
The Mid-East States print competition featured prints by professional photographers from across a 6 state region including: Indiana, Michigan, Kentucky, Ohio, Pennsylvania, and West Virginia and is affiliated with Professional Photographers of America. In this highly competitive exhibition only the top entries receive awards. This competition showcases the finest image making in this region of the country.

Showcased below you will find an assortment of images that I am constantly adding to. Getting good high quality images is not a matter of luck, but by applying the skills I have acquired. Although some of these images are not what one would consider model type shots, they are posted to show some of my abilities: artistic (Photoshop skills, image refinement and enhancement), creativity, lighting and photographic. I have worked with a variety of subjects in various situations and can problem solve to get the best image possible. These abilities translate into the images the client was looking for, more importantly demonstrates that I can get the images you are looking for!
