General Information

We enjoy helping new models, singers, dancers, actors and other aspiring entertainers build their portfolio. We allow one TFP model each quarter. It is a welcome diversion to the day to day assignments. Unless the model is under 18, in which case we will not shoot without the parent or guardian present, we do not allow esorts at TFCD shoots.

A. Absolute Best Photography dates back to 1969 when Creative Photography (our other name) was first open for business. Same owner and principal photographer.

We accept local and regional model portfolio, glamour, wedding, portraiture, and interesting commercial photographic assignments.

Our basic prices begin as follows:

Portraiture: $80.00 (and up) Sitting Fee. (Includes 5 proofs or CD).

Theatrical Headshots: $150.00 (Includes 250 8" X 10" Black and White Lithographs)

Portfolio: $559.00 and up. (Special discounts for OMP members - just ask)

Wedding Photography: $559.00 and up.

Videography: $525 and up.

Test Shoots and TFCD require a $20.00 (refundable upon arrival) Deposit received by A. Absolute Best prior to putting the shoot date in schedule book due to occassional no-shows. (Sorry) Fee for photographic services and supplies negotiable with owner.

There is NO CHARGE to talk about how to best advance your career. Feel free to email or call. We make custon picture business cards, unique comp cards and outstanding (and inexpensive) quanity head shots as well as assisting you with a digital portfolio. We recently began air-brush body paint and make-up application.

Photographers and Agencies be fore warned: On my acknowledgement page if I list "No Comment" it means the model acted in an unprofessional manner. It typically means the model did not show even after confirmation.

Always a very special discount price for OMP models and MUA's! Be sure to ask!!!

Notice: A. Absolute Best Photography is filming an independent film, "You Have to Die, The Movie"! There are still two female speaking parts and several extra parts to be cast. Email or call immediately if you want to audition! The compensation will be credits, recognition, an invitation to the wrap party and, if you are cast to be in the music video to be shot in one of the scenes, an invitation to the music video party. You will also receive a copy of the scene(s) you were in.

MODEL SEARCH: A. Absolute Best Photography is looking for female models for an unusual artistic hard cover book to be titled, "All American Beauty Body Scapes." Discuss this with Gene. It is a most unusual project! We are in the initial stages of planning an early Spring Fashion / Concert / Dinner Show and are casting for models.

We always have local, regional and national casting calls to provide afilliated models choices for building their career. Right now we are submitting model images to a national model fashion magazine and we need new models to submit!

Actor Search: We are making commercials for the local Rotary Club to air on Comcast Cable every week in all of their midwest locations. They need donations and help with fund raising in their charitable efforts to help with the many needs created by hurricane Katrina, eradicating Polio from the World, funding scholarships, feeding the poor, schooll physicals, along with all of the benevolent activities they do on an ongoing basis. Professional "talking head" spots. 30 seconds to 3 minute commercials.
